Assistant Operations Manager

The Assistant Operations Manager will mentor and develop the Operations team, ensuring all training/CPD remains up to date and will ensure our customers are safe, happy and keep coming back. You will have a focus on health and safety, while ensuring all activity programming is fit for purpose, capitalising on a variety of revenue streams. You will also, serve as Duty Manager and deputise for the Group Operations Manager as required. 

The successful Assistant Operations Manager will have:
• A UK recognised pool lifeguard qualification (desirable)
• First Aid at Work Certificate (training available)
• Pool Plant Operator qualification (training available)
• Supervisory experience in the hospitality or service industry
• Experience of managing a team including training, development, appraisals, performance management and recruiting staff
• Experience in financial management and budget preparation, and a proven track record of 

This role is 37 hours per week, on a rolling rota which includes working evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Salary - up to £24,100

Sports Development Manager

With the addition of new indoor and outdoor sporting facilities, we are extending our sports development team, and require a strong and dynamic leader to develop the increasing wider programme of choice and variety of sports coaching, block bookings, special events and holiday activities. 

Ideally, you will have a commercial acumen and coaching qualifications, as well as a good understanding of sports development. You must be able to communicate effectively and be highly organised in your role. 

Competitive salary and permanent staff can expect to enjoy 163 hours of annual leave (based on a working week of 37 hours) plus public holidays. 

Assistant Sales and Spa Manager

We are looking for a dynamic individual with proven spa / beauty experience at a senior level. Reporting into the Sales & Spa Manager, you will be responsible for helping to lead & motivate the Spa and sales  team,  to provide consistently outstanding service to our members, supervising Spa operation s to optimise business potential, assisting with the training, motivation and nurturing of the team and will be hands on assisting the team as required. The successful applicant for this role will be able to display great leadership skills, deliver excellent customer service, have a positive ‘can do’ attitude.

  • NVQ 2 and 3 or equivalent in massage, beauty.
  • Experience as a Senior Beauty Therapist essential.
  • Experience in a supervisor or managerial role and people manager preferable
  • Be able to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of all treatment procedures and products and to be able to adapt treatments to a clients need.
  • Knowledge of the teams' skills and areas trained in so that work can be allocated effectively.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work.

Swimming Development Manager

We require a great leader for the aquatics team at Egham Orbit. You will be tasked with the coordination of the Learn to Swim programme, and be required to focus on maximum participation levels being sought within the wider pool programme. 

A proven track record of success in previous aquatics development is required, as well as being ambitious and keen to make the pool and swim development programme your own. 

This role is available on a full-time basis and the ability to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays is necessary for consideration.

Assistant Health & Fitness Manager

A great opportunity to join an expanding gym team with the opening of three new facilities. 

We are seeking an ambitious fitness orientated leader to enhance and develop our gym team. 

This role will provide key multi-site support to the Group Fitness Manager at Achieve zONE, Achieve POWER and Egham Orbit. 

Salary - up to £24,100 (37 hours per week)

Duty Manager

The Duty Manager will oversee the management of the operational staff, to maximise customer service ensuring best practice and customer satisfaction is focused upon. You will promote a positive image of Achieve Lifestyle’s facilities and represent the service as required for customer communications, and ensure the facility housekeeping standards are met, monitored and maintained. The Duty Manager will have a sound approach to the management of health and safety and had experience in supervising staff 

The successful applicant will have:
· A UK recognised pool lifeguard qualification (desirable)

· Pool Plant Operator qualification (training available)

Fitness Instructor 

We require a dynamic, motivated, team players to help drive forward our successful fitness gyms.

Reliable cleaners needed to work at Egham Leisure Centre 

Various evening hours and days available.

Recreational Assistant - (casual shifts)

Would you like to work in the leisure industry? We are recruiting for Recreational Assistants to work at Egham Leisure Centre.

No experience necessary as full training will be provided.

Gymnastics & Trampoline Coach - (various shifts available)

At Egham we  currently run a variety of children’s gymnastics and trampolining courses and are looking for additional staff to assist / coach with the sessions.

The days and times available are:

Gymnastics

  • Tuesdays from 4pm to 6pm
  • Wednesdays from 4pm to 6pm
  • Thursdays from 4pm to 6pm

 Trampolining

  • Mondays from 4.15pm to 6.30pm
  • Tuesdays from 4.15pm to 5.45pm

Ideally staff will have some experience either teaching the activity or having participated in the activity but it is not essential. We are also keen to recruit additional qualified trampoline and gymnastics coaches so that we can expand the course programme and run additional sessions or days.
