Qualifications: Sivananda Hatha Yoga
When/how did you become interested in fitness?
I practiced meditation more than 20 years ago and I was looking for a practice which went well with my meditation practice and allowed me to relax my mind and my body. I went for the first time to a Yoga retreat 10 years ago and I felt so energised after 5 days, so when I came back to UK I decided to carry on my practice. I completed my 200 hours Yoga qualification in 2013 in Austria.
How would you best describe your class experience and coaching style?
Each class that I teach includes some breathing exercises at the beginning and a final relaxation at the end of the class. Sivananda Yoga is good for beginners because it allows them to get used to the same sequence and have the chance to deepen their understanding of the postures.
What do you love most about your job?
At the end of the class I feel so satisfied to share my passion for Yoga - especially when I see their happy faces!
