What I love most in the Pluto Club - Reading stories to the children
The Pluto Club is suitable for children aged from 6 months up until their 5th birthday.
The Pluto Club is open to both members and non-members providing they are using our facilities. Parents must remain onsite at Egham Orbit at all times.
We have a range of activities in the Pluto Club which are stimulating and fun, as well as educational. We aim to provide activities that are varied and that help the children to improve their listening, reading, writing, social and creative skills. There are a range of toys and games including a play kitchen, mini sports area, a comfy bean bag reading area as well a secure outdoor patio space for when the weather is on our side!
We also encourage arts & crafts - we aren't afraid to get messy! We try to have regular themed activities so that the children can learn about annual festivals and seasons such as Christmas and Easter. We like to showcase their work and provide something for them to take home to show you too!
We are always open to further requests and suggestions.
The Pluto Club has a maximum of 10 children at any one time.
All of our staff are a minimum of Level 3 qualified in childcare and have been trained in first aid and safeguarding of children. They all hold an up-to-date DBS check.
You must cancel Pluto club sessions by 8am on the day of your booking, or preferably a day or two before if you know you are not going to be attending, otherwise a cancellation fee will be charged for a late cancellation or a no-show.
We have a maximum stay of 2 hours per session. You can choose from 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes per session depending on how long your activity at Egham Orbit will take. We recommend 2 hours if you plan to take a group exercise class or have a gym session, followed by a swim in the pool, to allow time for changing.
It is required for all first time users of the Pluto Club book to a 30 minute 'settling in' session at £4.50. This allows your child to try the Pluto Club and see how they get on before booking a longer session.
To book your trial session, please speak to a member of our Reception team at Egham Orbit or call us on 01784 333111. There will be some forms to fill out to inform our staff of any medical conditions or allergies, as well as emergency contact information. Once all the paperwork is completed then your child will be free to start their settling in session.
Please could you bring a copy of their birth certificate or passport to your first trial session.
If we reach capacity, we operate a waiting list (at Reception) so we can inform you when a space becomes available.
If your child has been sick in the last 24 hours, has a temperature or is generally feeling unwell then please do not bring them into Pluto Club.
