Lacrosse is a contact team sport between two teams using a rubber ball and a long handled stick. The object of the game is to score by shooting the ball into an opponent’s goal past the goalie, using the lacrosse stick to catch, cradle and pass the ball to do so. The object of the defending team is to keep their opponents from scoring goals.

Re.lax Rec provides a gentle introduction to lacrosse to players over 16 years of age. The emphasis is on the social nature of sport and having fun with lacross with friends. No experience necessary, just enthusiasm. Spread the word!
